Like not giving a rematch after an exciting, very close (Margarito), draw-like (Dawson-Johnson) or controversial (Pac-JMM II) fight.

as the other pointed out, JMM did not take the immediate rematch since he was unhappy with the terms. The same can be said about Pacquiao. Fight DLH and Hatton makes more financial sense.

When Pacman ducked IN JIn Chi back in May of 2007... That was the most obvious ducking ive seen in recent times.

None of those are even ducks, other than maybe Margarito-Williams. The others, they had good financial reasons to go in another direction.

Forrest-Martinez will be a huge duck if that fight doesn't get made.

:-( Whatever you say!:verysad I guess you left out the part were he tried to get the Margorito rematch...That is what kill me about some of you so called fans...Just because a fight doesnt happen on your own personal agenda...you guys automatically call it a duck:patsch...Boxing is a business ya know....So just because a fighter doesnt offer a rematch right off the bat doesnt mean its a duck. I dont blame those fighters for exploring their options.

Using your logic...I guess Adamek is ducking Cunningham right...That fight was close so is Adamek is Cunningham because Adamek didnt offer Cunningham an imediate rematch. See how that works!:deal

Calzaghe DUCKING Hopkins for the rematch

Berto/Dibella DUCKING Collazo for the rematch

    Dawson DUCKING Johnson

De La Hoya at every turn DUCKING Wright over the years

Mayweather DUCKING Cotto/Margarito (two fighters Floyd could have soundly beaten IMO)

True. I had Dawson clearly winning the Johnson fight, but that doesn't mean public demand hasn't been stratospheric. The fans wanted to see the rematch before the fighters had even left the ring post fight.

Dibella Entertainment never proposed Collazo as an opponent to HBO for Andre's next set aside date. Do you honestly think HBO wouldn't have accepted Collazo?? Think about the circumstances.

You realize Team Williams rejected an offer from Team Margarito for an immediate rematch, right??
