You haven't watched the fight have you?

Lewis was moving forward the entire fight.

LL proved throughout his ATG career that he has the guts. He did not have the motivation for a rematch. If he had lost he first fight, he would have done a rematch like he did against Rahman and McCall.

out of shape and out of prime Ll beat Vitali fair on cuts caused by a right hand.

Yes, LL was the aggressor and made the fight. Vitali was landing more puches but LL landed the bigger shots overall, Vitali was staggered on many occasions.

No, Vitali was winning that fight on points at the time of stoppage. It was Lewis who was staggered also. It was Lewis who refused his biggest payday and still it. Let's get this fight ASAP. Lewis should have kept his promise, but I guess he did not like almost being knocked out, he knows he was saved, he was done for. A picture does not win a fight. Take a look at Marciano's face and many others. You are so sorry that Vitali is beating your heroes, esp. Peter. Angelo Dundee said it best.

Agree with you Blade. I'll concede that Vitali was ahead of Lewis on the cards but to suggest Lewis was running is just stupid.

Just stop this ****. Lenox won the fight. A shame there was no rematch, but LL won the fight fair and square...

Vitali has been doing everything in his power to get Lewis back into the ring since that very night of the fight when he was cheated out of a win. If that was such an easy fight for Lewis, then why didn't he take that fight? Vitali should have boxed more instead of simply walking through Lewis' punches, but he was excited about that fight. Lewis wanted no part of Vitali after that night and no wonder. A broken nose hurts like Hell, not to mention being completely out of gas.

Besides, all Klitschko's like to have a good three fights or so to ensure victory and if one looses to the other, they can fight the other brother too.

    They're like a tag team.

    Me too.

Then we can all go back to ignoring this terrible division once again.

I think Vitali will fight Arreola if he beats McCline, unless he is ordered to fight Maskaev. He wants winner of Valouev/Chagaev, or fight Valouev now, but Don King still owns part of Valoeuv as far as I know. There is always Dimitrenko and some others.

    I reiterate, terrible division.

I want Wlad to get busted putting Vitali's wife away so we can get some really juicy story and make the best match up available over 200lbs.

Vitali would have knocked Lewis out in the next round. Lewis was finished. Vitali would have taken care of Lewis in a rematch, but Lewis would have no part of it for any amount of money which is a fact.

Vitali came back after four years layoff at age 37 and stopped Peter after 8 rounds.

Vitali Vs. Lewis would have been the biggest fight of that time, largest amount of money ever for a fight. Lewis still refused. I guess his broken nose and gas tank could not take it. It's a shame there was a cut. As Angelo Dundee (Ali's trainer) said, Vitali was cheated out of the title that night. Dundee was a good cut man as well as trainer. He trained Leonard also. Check out what Max had to say and the other cut man, etc. one more round would have been enought for Vitali to have finished Lewis. A rematch would been wondeful, Vitali did everything he could to get it too.

I suppose your right but keep in mind heavy weights go longer then any division. They had there chance. and they lost. It isnt there fought that there whole career was based off 1 elite fighter but he had an old #300 pound stretch marked lewis right there infront of him. Lennox couldnt even make weight no more. and the Vitali played no defense and it slipped between his fingers.

and why the Heck was vitali tired anyway??? lewis was the flabby outta shape one.
