“Taylor says he wouldn’t know me if I walked into his gym but trust me if he even saw me in the gym he wouldn’t go ahead with the fight because I’m on fire right now. By the time I’m finished with him on April 25th Jermain Taylor will know exactly who I am and what I’m all about.”

If anyone else needs convincing just how good Carl Froch is have a look at this! It was Jean Pascal’s return to action against former World title challenger, Pablo Nievas. Pascal was involved in a 2008 Fight of the Year candidate with Carl Froch with the Nottingham man claiming the WBC Super Middleweight title after a sensational win over the then unbeaten Pascal..

Pascal made his ring return this past weekend in Canada with this frightening KO over an opponent who had previously lost on points in a bid for Anthony Mundine’s WBA World title.

DONT LET ME DOWN FROCHY,OR ME THINKS I WILL BE WEARING A GARY LOCKETT AVATAR FOR A FORTNIGHT,AND NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THAT!

More bitching from Froch about getting credit, Sky dont want him so hes pissed off because all the other Brits that go to America get Sky money, but hes pissed off that he's only going to get Setanta. But apparently there is no UK TV deal agreed, so my guess is that he wants too much money.

And he's on about making history... bull****, what history is he making?! Going to America and beating Jermaine Taylor is hardly history making. Froch is a *****/paper champion who thinks far too highly of himself. I hope Taylor knocks him out.

If you think I'll eat your Pablo Nievas hyping, you're wrong. Who knows Nievas? He's a top 50, at best. That was a beautiful ko though. I could see this fight differently than you did. In the 4th round, Pascal struggled against Nievas, more than he did against Froch. So, can I conclude that Nievas hits stronger than Froch?

    Wicked KO!

No UK rights for Froch/Tyalor at present, only 3 weeks to go, so looking shitty. Setanta are broke, SKY not keen, ITV cannot afford, so who left???

i think all this shows is frochs strongest asset, his chin. he was taking those shots all night and barely flinched, taylor will murder him in the opening rounds but the question is will froch be able to come back in the second half of the fight?

Pascal has more KO power in his pinkie finger than Taylor has full stop plus Taylor gasses after the halfway point.

Seriously if you think that Froch's not going to to wear Taylor down you're a fool. Froch'll come at Taylor over and over and over and over and over and over and over again until Taylor can't take the pressure no more then

    lights out Taylor.

Let me say this one more time: Pascal hits harder than Taylor. Pascal is natural LHW - point in fact the rumour is he may fight for a LHW belt next - Taylor simply cannot beat Froch.

But hey what does it matter? Every one who's nuthugging Taylor will called him washed up after this fight. Or Froch a fraud. "Who's Froch fought?!" They'll cry. Pointless even pointing out the hows and why Froch will win anyway - people seem to have goldfish memory here; Brock, Peter, Chambers, Austin, Golota, Taylor - they always talk them up till they get busted then act like they never knew them to begin with.

ESB in a nutshell. A real man would say "Ok I was wrong I admit it" but hey....... :-(

Yes pascal hits harder than taylor,
This will be a fairly easy fight for froch when he ko's him in 8 rounds.

there's a big difference between making your name on guys like pascal for a paper belt and doing it the hard way whcih is how taylor did it.

the easy counter-argument is to compare defeats, but if you're going to do that you better compare who they fought also.

if froch wins (in a fight he hasn't earned) then i'll give him his dues, but i expect taylor to show his class - and he is a class fighter.

You clearly don't know what it means to be a "natural" at a given weight. Pascal has had four fights at 165 or under and has come in well shy of the 168 lb limit in many of his SMW fights, including the one last Saturday. Pascal is considering a move to LHW because he may be offered a title shot there against Diaconu.

Remember this in the event Froch is the one who loses - what will your excuse be then? Will you admit that you were wrong?
