Antonio Pitalua how can they let this 39 old man fight for the vacant title? The guy did nothing to show he is even in the top 10. No jab, no feet movement, no nothing. Fair play to Valero he hit him with some good shots, but the old man was just a punch bag. People say Khan vs MAB was bad, MAB at 35 four years younger than Pitalua is way better oppenent. Khan would have K.O Pitalua in a few rounds aswell. I fought WBO was bad.

Pitula was the #5 guy in the division, he has a good record, and had recently beat Santa Cruz. Simple as that.
The titles are all corrupt making them irrelevant in terms of prestige all they do factor into what fights get made or not. Still, it was a good victory for Valero. Pitalua did deserve a meaningful fight after taking out Cruz though.
