Just been reading Boxing Monthly where Ricky Hatton is talking about the fight with Pacquiao and he seems to think that Malignaggi has faster hands than Pacquiao.

    Your thoughts

pac has a punch that his opponents can not see and never anticipates. he throws some of his punches wherein he barely moves his shoulders

pac's hand is so fast that hatton doesn't see his 6 punch combo

Pacman really commits to his punches..that is why we see him sometimes a little bit slow and off balance,

imagine if he fights like calzaghe, all his opponents will look like his *****..

Hatton will still be able to deal with pacs hands anyway.

To be fair, Malinaggi has more KOs at 140 than Pac...

I love the hitman, and have followed him for quite some time.
but in all reality, we are going to see pac hitting hatton before hatton has a chance to react, then pac will be moving out qulickly. in and out, at a seemingly incredible speed as compared the much slower hatton.
i hope i'm wrong, but i think pac is just too fast for hatton. imagine how quickly pac would make paulie look like an amateur.

i pretty much agree with this.

pac's 'in and out' tactics and his non-conventional style are as important as his speed.

hatton isn't a great mover and so long as pacman is able to keep his usual aggressive style over 12 rounds i think he'll take it.

i've always said that marquez (being an aggessive and technically sound counterpuncher) is the blueprint for beating pacman over anything else and i'll stick to that.
