Interesting to see how the ring rust will effect him..

I'm tired of people saying this garbage. It just gives them a built in excuse if Winky loses. Make a definitive prediction. You really didn't make a prediciton as you left yourself a convienient out.

To be honest BigReg, its hard to make a prediction.

I think Winky, even the one that fought Taylor would best on Paul to win a UD, like 8-4 or even wider.

My prediction is that he shocks us all, this is pretty much a fight to stay alive at the top tier for Winky.. I think he comes in like against Quartey, with bad conviction and UDs Paul very wide.

So if Paul Williams wins, will you give him his props or will you simply take the out and claim Wright was past it/out of shape?

I will tip my hat off to him.

After all, when was Winky decisively beaten last time?

I think even winning close against him is a good feat, Winky is a game dog everytime out, and I expect nothing less from him this time around.:good

To me this is a win win situation for Williams, if he wins he just beat Winky Wright, one of the best fighters of this generation and the bigger man, if he loses he lost to Winky Wright, a better fighter and a bigger man.

I think the layoff would have done Winky more harm then good he is 36 and knowing his love for krispy kremes and pizza it wouldnt surprise me if he let himself go if he did then i think Williams will win, If Winky kept himself in shape during that period then it will be a closer fight but a win for Williams.

Don't you think we need to see if Winky is well rested, or seriously rusted? I've prefaced nearly all my Winky statements with the word "IF." Winky has fought a prime McKart X 3, Vargas, Mosely X 2, Trinidad, Taylor, and Hopkins. By the time he fights Williams 21 months will have passed since the Hopkins fight. We simply do not know what Winky has left.
