lads , i thought mccloskey had to fight olesgun for the lonsdale belt, and now he seems to be fighting witter. Does this mean he will be giving up the lonsdale?

Would this suggest that they think theres a decent chance of mccloskey losing to olesgun?

I think the Witter fight just makes more sense as it's for the European title and will lead to bigger fights - he's a much bigger name, quite well known in the States after facing Judah and Bradley.

But yeah, Breen is probably also a bit apprehensive of Olusegun.

Hi lads. I was hoping to get some info on Martin Rogan - and where else to look?

When did he enter boxing at amateur level, and how many Irish senior titles did he win?

I know he began around 2000, but unfortunately I wasnae too interested in the noble sport back then.

    Any help appreciated, cheers

Javier Mora is a big step up for Mike. Forget the Ibragimov fight (the only time he has been stopped) and he has a good enough record. He mightn't have faced many good fighters, but unlike Perez previous opponents he has managed to put most of them away. His No Contest with Kirk Johnson is on youtube, ignoring the end of it you'll get a good idea of how good he is.

Cadets are 16 and you can fight senior at 17.
