I disagree, Roach's type of thinking and training is equivalent to the west coast offense, or New England Patriot type offenses in NFL. Pedal to the medal. He is the best at getting his boxer to win by Ko, and not just a sissy decision. Roach doesn't think of winning like a sissy.

Pac is the perfect fighter for Roach. Pac is vicious, just like Roach is...vicious. That's why they are perfect for each other! I blame the fighters who lost with Roach, rather than roach.

And emanual steward loses only when his fighters don't listen to him, and try to do it their own way. But, when a fighter listens to Emanuel every second, the fighter becomes an all around ATG before our very eyes.

Freddie is great and the reason he has to talk trash is for the promotion. Lets be honest, Pac man isnt exactly a wordsmith for the 24/7 cameras. All pac man does is talk about God this and God that and God will be the only one that knows who will win......so Freddie makes the verbal jabs and keeps the fires stoked.

I dont see anyone bashing Floyd SR. and he is the biggest **** talker there is!

Roach said by himself that people overrate him as a trainer because of PAC who make him look so good. I think they are both complementing eachother.

    Let us not forget Izzy.
If I remember correctly, that trilogy was a heads on comparison w/ Beristan.

And how the **** do you know this?

You think you got more boxing knowledge than him?

You think you're a more qualified trainer?

Who have you trained? What have you done? Considering that most of the boxing world recognizes the man as one of the best in the industry, it's hard to put much value to your opinion, especially when you say Hatton was one of the most overrated fighters in history, yet he was Floyd's biggest win.

Roach is a vey good trainer. I would say he is the main reason for Mannys success. He learned his trade from the great Eddie Futch. Roach has been there through most of his major fights. He definitely knows the game and knows how to prepare fighters for championship fights. He like Steward paid his dues, and at this point in his career with Parkinsons, how much time does he have to develop pros from the start of their careers? Its better for him to take a real good fighter and polish them off and make them a champion. If he was overated why would the top fighters use him for their fights?
Hes not going to work for everyone, and at some point, these guys need someone who is not going to tell them exactly what they want to hear. How many trainers like Roach can say screw you when a fighter thats making millions doesnt want to listen to them?

He built PAC from pretty much the ground up. PAC had no "REAL" offensive or Defensive idenity other than being a one demensional fighter who was very raw and unpolished.

03-04 PAC is a completely different fighter compared to 2009 PAC. You gotta be kidding me with this Pac being "one D".

Roach is the best with puncher type boxer. Pac is not Pac without roach. Just another good puncher. But don't think he'll do well with Marquez, Floyd or Hopkins type boxers.
