what ?!?! Pauli won the fight by majority decision not split Ngoudjo won one or two round at best .. it was not a close fight. it not like Pauli was going to win buy KO come on but he out classed his guy with no issues.
 It was a very close fight. I think it could have reasonably been one point either way or even a draw. Malignaggi did not impress one little bit, Ngoudjo landed most of the best shots and certainly the more hurtful ones. I think you need to watch the fight again, in truth. Infact, it was a UD, I'm not convinced you aren't talking about the wrong fight entirely. N'dou and Ngoudjo are easy to confuse I guess, N'dou got schooled by Malignaggi the first time, but not Ngoudjo.
Whose known for losing to Mosley and Hatton. His best win is probably Edwin Cassiani five years ago. Not exactly a world beater either. For all your proefessional opponent talk, You list Stevie Forbes aka the worlds biggest sparring partner. It's also worth noting Forbes' best fights were at 135 and that his best win at 147 was a SD against a never was in Fransisco Bojado. 22-6 David Estrada? Yeah real great one. I understand some fighters are better than their records indicate but Estrada ain't one of them. Losses to Kermit "Baby Cry" Cintron, Jesus Soto Karass and Ishe Smith to name a few of them. His best win is against....well he doesn't even have a best win. For all your "professional opponent" talk...you list David Estrada? I mean I have a hard time understanding how David Estrada is anything but an ok touch on a up and coming fighter's resume. 31-12 Cosme Rivera. Losses to everybody above B- level including Zab Judah, Joel Julio, The beast that is Mario Ramos, Future P4P king Arutor Mora and Alfredo Angulo. Neither fighter has much of a resume...but Herman Ngoujo is on the same level at 140 as Luis Collazo is at 147. To dismiss one and promote the other is assanine. Oh and as per whether Urango could beat Collazo at 147, I still think people have doubts whether BERTO can beat Collazo at 147.
Berto is green. If he's prime, then I feel sad that he never reached his potential. Besides, I'm not convinced that shot Jones is all that much worse than green Berto. Prime Jones barely lost a round. Berto has had some struggles against guys he should have dominated. While Berto is a physical freak, I think you underestimate just how much of his mental game is lacking. Ngodjo-Malignaggi was a VERY close fight, as was Ngodjo-Castillo. Urango is the only fighter to blow him out. I agree that Collazo would whoop Urango's ass, but Collazo, while a less talented fighter than Berto, doesn't have the same flaws that Berto has which make him particularly susceptible to a mauler.
Berto is just starting to enter his prime. Berto isn';t green anymore he faced Collazo and grew up overnight in that fight.
Dibella has expressed interest in matching Berto against several welters such as Cotto, Mosley, Judah, and Collazo in a rematch. Cotto is obviously unavailable, Mosley has no interest in Berto, Judah is now at 140, and I'm not sure why the Collazo rematch didn't come to fruition. Urango was obviously hand picked but considering a lack of options, he represents a decent challenge. Like Collazo, Urango is a south paw but with better power. He however needs to be on he inside to get off. His type of style is perfect for Berto to work on his footwork and outside skills which caters to his hand speed. Considering that Collazo was most effective against Berto when fighting on the inside, I was expecting Berto to work on his boxing skills against whomever was named as his next opponent. Now that Urango is that guy, he style provides Berto extra incentive to tactically box on the perimeter.
Fact is though, Berto rarely boxes. The mother ****er is more content about slugging it out. I mean ****, did you forget about his fight with Estrada, another in your words, "crude come foward slugger". Damn.
I got to side with what your posting. It's good ****. I think this fight could go either way, but if Berto slugs, it's lights out. This is the type of fight you bet on.
That's my point....how can you say he grew up overnight when you haven't seen his next fight yet? It was a questionable decision anyways.....
Ignore him...he's a child he used to be Orion100 now he's back as "Trouble Man"(really cool name)...he's a known racist..especially towards Puerto Ricans...**** him
