That's an interesting question actually. It depends on the fight, obviously. For instance recently Afolabi out-toughed Maccarinelli and was behind on the cards but in my opinion proved himself the better man and would win a rematch much easier than he won the first fight. I think Toney V Nunn? was similar too. I wouldn't argue that Brewster or Purrity are better boxers than WALDO - notice I never even mentioned Purrity in my original post because that's just used for mocking purposes as far as I'm concerned, I don't consider that loss a big deal much like I don't consider Haye's loss to Thompson a big deal. You could argue that Ali V Foreman was a case of someone being out-toughed too, although that was a close fight on the cards I think. Another perfect example is Lewis v VITLAY by the way, I've no doubt Lewis was the better boxer he just chose to slug that night because he knew the scorecards wouldn't enter into it once he started landing, and he was right :yep However my point in my original post was valid - how dare a Klitschko fan come on here predicting a ton of excuses from Haye fans if Haye loses, it's unbelievably dense, even by his normal low standards :nut Window is one of the biggest excuse makers for both the Klitschkos on this forum, I suspect that the Haye fans will show more class if defeat happens than he has in the past.
I hear ya man... but time will tell if we see excuses (either side) or if people just disappear. Personally I think we'll see some serious vanishing acts.
WTF? I am the man who responded to the question of "Why did Wladimir lose to Sanders", with the answer of "Because Sanders was being rude as hell and wouldn't stop punching Wlad in the face". While on the other hand it is posters like you and Radar who claim that Lennox Lewis was knocked out by Rahman because of the altitude.:rofl Wlad doesn't need any excuses for his losses. He has became a better fighter because of them. His losses are the best things that have ever happened in his career. Besides that, he has clearly moved on well past them so he shouldn't be defined by them.
I can't see how Klitschko fans can have grounds for excuses here.Everything is stacked in Wladimirs favour. If Haye comes in clean shaven, you're really struggling although I wouldn't put it past certain people:deal
Not to mention that I am having a hard time finding time to train, as I am still recovering from the grief of my entire family being killed last week.
I think you might be surprised. Call me naive but I give a lot of the fans on here more credit than that.
Like the dude said before, there are always excuses. The loser whether it be Wlad or Haye (more likely Haye IMO) will make excuses (possibly even reasonable, but probably unverifiable ones)
The good news is that if Wlad loses I'm pretty sure HE won't make excuses. And I think - dispite my dislike for Haye's personality - that if Haye gets outclassed he will be a different sounding guy without any excuses. And really that's all that will matter. But fights on here sure are interesting. Just wish people wouldn't swear so much, but that's me.
Lewis got KO'd by Rahman because he prepared badly and got hit by a massive right hand, I've never suggested otherwise. Altitude played a part only in the preparation for that fight but it's not an excuse, Lewis was 34-35 at the time and Rahman was 28. Lewis was the experienced man and should have known better, simple as that. Now why did WALDO lose to Brewster again?
And the new Heavyweight Champion of the World David "The Hayemakerrrr" Haye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy
Maybe they should have Nicky Clarke visiting both dressing rooms before the fight, just to ensure that there are no dangerous dreadlocks and both faces are as smooth as a babys bottom, just in case cuts get opened....
