It is Pac hugging. Both need and should want to have a decisive win over their #1 rival.

    I completely disagree.

JMM has just moved up to Lightweight, despite being most effective at 126lb, and destroyed two previously never stopped legitimate contenders. Nobody thought he would stop Juan Diaz. He did it in brutal fashion in a very competitive and exciting fight that will probably go down as the year's best. I think to say Juan is not chasing greatness is to be stupid, or simply misinformed. Three weight champion, beat the likes of Barrera, Casamayor, Juan Diaz. The only thing missing for him is that signature win, and then I believe, he has achieved greatness.

Manny Pacquiao is levels above him in terms of resume, but their two fights show that they are on the same level in terms of ability. I give Juan the edge in this category. There are many people who believe Pacquiao lost the second fight, so he will want to beat his nearest competition decisively to solidify his legacy. JMM obviously wants redemption.

Pacquiao and Marquez are both chasing greatness, and they both if not need, should want a third fight for themselves if not their fans.

just messin man, it's really up to pac. He's after a lot of moolahs because he's running for congressman next year and JMM won't provide him the money he will need like a mayweather fight could.

Somebody said counter punchers are boring? What the hell?? Anybody that does not want a Pac/Marq 3 is not a real fight fan simple as that... They think of every excuse for him NOT to fight Marquez.. regardless it will be a great fight and as boxing fans thats what we should demand..

it was a good win for marquez but pac wins over delahoya is way more impressive. He was the underdog in that fight and just bout everybody except the hardcore pac fans were saying delahoya would win by knockout. Im one of those pac fan who thought delahoya would win.

So many people wants to make the weight drain excuse for oscar without giving pac his props for putting up a brilliant fight. Like roach said when pacman trains hard he is very hard to beat.

He'll make more money, but have a lot less of a chance to further his greatness. Why can't he fight Marquez after Hatton then try a fight against Floyd?

Harrison, calm down. You're showing yourself up again.

Pacquiao had a relatively easy time with David Diaz, who has never been considered a great fighter who was actually one of the worst belt holders at the time. I don't expect any informed Boxing fans to say otherwise. This was not a great win - virtually nobody picked Diaz to achieve anything in a fight with Manny Pacquiao.

De La Hoya should and, in my opinion, would have destroyed Manny Pacquiao had he not been completely inadequate at 147lb. The majority of fans and people involved with Boxing are in agreement that the Oscar that fought Manny was weight drained. The videos serve as evidence, and although Manny did what he had too do, I feel a prime and healthy Juan Diaz is more competitive.

As for my reasoning. Juan Diaz is a far superior fighter to both David Diaz and a weight drained Oscar De La Hoya. I realise you have an obligation to defend Manny Pacquiao, you're probably from the same continent, but the fact is that Oscar was physically inept. I congratulate Manny for capitalising on Oscar's mistake.

That is my list, if you don't like it, then disregard it entirely. It bares no weight, and neither does any other P4P list in existance.

hatton, floyd and marquez. if floyd is not returning then it should be marquez.

pacquiao doesnt need marquez. marquez needs pac.
