wtf are you talking about jeff?

if pac gets past hatton (which im sure he will) mayweather is his best immediate option. why? -b/c win or lose jmm will still be waiting. and reguardless who you thought won between the 2 bottom line is pacs up 1.

jmm needs pac more than visa versa.

arum already confirm this... he said that pac has 1 or 2 more fights left depending if he wins. IF he loses to hatton then that might be it. Pac is aiming for a congressional seat in next years philippine election.

Just hope that he loses... if it happens we might see PAC-JMM III.

Naw man, I'm not saying anything like that. Juan Manuel is the best technical fighter of this era and only mayweather can dispute that statement but what I'm saying is that pac is on a different mission and I hope he fails on that mission so that pac-JMM 3 will happen.

I tend not to have fighters who have recently been destroyed on my P4P list. That list is a reflection of the very best 10 fighters on the planet. If Miguel Cotto is one of the very best, he will prove it by bouncing back with a credible win, instead of a mismatch against Michael Jennings.

He won't lose to Hatton. He will KO Hatton within 5 rounds.

Yep. Pac will end up a higher by a couple of places than Marquez in the ATG rankings when everything is said and done.

Pac's career path is legendary... people will still be talking about it years from now. :good

Manny should not be on a different mission.

He is a very proud fighter, that's evident in how he reacted to losing to Erik Morales. He should want to settle a score that is still unsettled in most fans eyes, and there is absolutely no reason why he wouldn't if he comes out victorious on May 2nd. Think about it. Manny beats the best 140lb in the world, and then beats the 2nd best P4P fighter in the world behind him and retires. There is no better ending. He should want this fight for himself.

Let's all hope that he fights juan manuel after the hatton fight. In the meantime, the one who's pilling the strings says that can only happen if juan manuel fight valero first. It's either a bluff or what but I want to hear marquez' response.

me hopes that pac can win hatton and marquez consecutively. he should reserve pbf for the last fight although i am picking pbf on this one if it ever happens.

People will look on Boxrec and see a few great names.

But then they'll always be the fans who were around at the time to put everything into perspective.

He came around, when both Erik and Marco had already been dominating the sport for 14 years, and many people felt he lost both fights to Juan Manuel Marquez, and who knows what is going to happen when he finally takes on a live challenger above 130lb. These things should be addressed, but make no mistake, Manny has achieved great feats in his career. He will go down in history as a top 100 P4P rated fighter, indeed.

LOL get real dude. Casa was shot - so how the hell did he produce a performance like that? He was shot my arse! Many writers heralded that as the very best performance of Casas career. Shot! :patsch

*******s love hiding behind "history". "History" will say how Pac went through all the weights, beating champs like the P4P monster David Diaz and the iconic Oscar dela Hoya - a fight no one predicted pac would have a chance in.

But we dont need to wait for history - this is our time - we WITNESS it.

We both know that that wasnt Oscar dela Hoya that night. That was a CORPSE. A corpse who couldnt even punch.

And we know how much of a bum Diaz really is.

And unless Hatton is back to his Tzsyu days, i wont be giving Pac ANY credit at all for beating Hatton. Hatton has long been washed up as a fighter.

..... why else would pac face him :D

That is something that we must all try to understand and accept SK. Did you know that pac threw away almost 5 million US dollars in the last election? I think he's willing to spend more just to win BUT I think he will lose again unless some people in the government rig the poll in his favor. Let's all hope he loses.

I don't care about Manny's ambitions outside of the ring anymore than I do about the business side of Boxing. I'm a fan of what transpires inside the square circle, no more no less.

I think he throws too much money away period. He could use 2 or 3 more fights just to further insure his financial security. I personally don't understand why he would have run for anything until he is retired.
