Well when a fighter reaches elite status money is the number 1 factor whether we like it or not, but I can't blame a fighter for that in a sport like boxing.

Pac has nothing left to prove by fighting Marquez. The third fight will be just as close as the first two.

I'd like to see Pac fight Mayweather. The stakes are higher and the purse will be insane.

I also think JMM deserves a chance at Mayweather. He definitely has earned it. His resume is stronger at this point than Pacquiao's. And I'm talking about his last 2 fights since he fought.

ideally, this is in what order Pac should fight if he goes undefeated up to his last fight.

1)Valero,2) Mayweather, 3) JMM. (last fight)

if he loses to Hatton, go back down to 135, this should be his last fight sequence.

fight Valero, JMM and finish win or lose against Mayweather.

It as simple as this... Pac fought from 106-147 + # of division champs + # of lineal champs + opponents he beat + exciting/dominating performaces + FOTY awards + PPV draw + P4P status + more to come...

    legend. :good

that's the problem man, some people can't accept the fact that their desire can't coincide with other people's desire. That's the reality that we either accept or not.

I disagree. I felt he lost both fights, I'm not alone in that belief either.

    Mismatch.
    Mismatch.

    Valero who?

I'm simply saying that a third fight should happen from a Boxing point of view. I come on Eastside Boxing Forum to speak Boxing, not politics. Although some fans have a hard time distinguishing the two.

FFS! Marquez/Pac could have went either way and sore losers are annoying, even in controversial fights, but yes Pac should want to defeat JMM decisively and I believe he and Roach both want that.
