agree, we can't blame. pac is presently doing this, jmm is starting to do this, and maybe valero will do this in the future. it's part of boxing, at least to the elites.

favoritism plays a part but the list does not border on stupidity. if you go back to the thread, that list of mine basically garnered the general consensus if I am not mistaken. it would be stupid to put anyone else on top other than pac considering its only pac who defeated the three great mexicans.

that is an irrefutable fact. one that you need to learn to live with. can you imagine JMM on top of this troika having been sent to the canvas once by MAB and 5x by pac?

I believe Marco beat more top quality prime fighters than Manny has, and considering I felt Juan Manuel Marquez won both fights, I have to factor that in slightly. Some favoritism too boot, and he is my number one. Boxing is not black and white, things need to be addressed before taking victory on face value.

well, obviously part of it is that I try not to be an ass....which is hard coz I often post on here when I've just woken up and cranky....but as I say, I try not to be a dick and you try not to attack me everytime I say anything, deal?

but you have to consider the head to head match-ups. just like in the NBA, even if you both have the same win loss records, but you lost both head to head match-ups against teh other team, you cannot insist that team should be number one since he defeated a lot of other play off contenders.

to have a wholistic view of rankings, we should consider head to head matchups and fights against other HOF and ATG. that is where Pac has an edge because he won against mab, em and jmm. something that the 3 mexican fighters were not able to do.
