I actually forgot he was a convicted ******. I am surprised he was able to fight again after the Holyfield ear thing. If Margorito did that, he would be banned for life. The Holyfield ear fight, was the last fight I ever purchased of Mike Tyson. After I saw that, I felt so ripped off, I vowed to never buy another Tyson fight. Notice I said "buy" and not "watch". You have to watch Tyson fight, no matter what he has done.
Complex is the best way to describe it. They couldn't make up a character with a backstory as interesting and with a personality as complex as Tyson actually is- he was, and to an extent still is, a walking contradiction. There's so many different levels, even a good writer wouldn't know how to make a character react properly to the things that have happened to him. That he was as phenomenal of a fighter as he was plays a big part of it, but it's only a part. There's only been a handful of fighters in history that got everyday non-boxing fans to be excited about the sport, and all the circumstances around Mike played into that just as much as the exciting, throwback style he had.
He didnt **** that chick, the chick had accused her ex boyfriend of the same thing.. Shes a damn liar!
CUS HE WAS "IRON" ****IN MIKE TYSON MAN! Never again will we see someone like him in the heavyweight division.
Because, no matter what you thought of him, he was real. He put everything out there for the world to see. He had many faults and many rises and falls. At the end of the day, he was human, and the public related to him.
I loved to watch Tyson in his prime. It's a shame that Don King destroyed him. Cus was made to train Tyson. Kevin Rooney was the best replacement. When Jacobs died, Tyson was lost, then along came King, who destroyed him.
just a fasinating character that took over the boxing world, had whatever that it is, he had it, he is truly one of the best boxers ever
