Should Cotto's defeat be changed to a 'No Contest'

The Margerito defeat was totally unexpected. In Margerito's next match he get banned for illegal substances on his hand wraps. We will never know what was on the hand wraps for the Cotto fight, but Cotto was the fight was was tipped to lose whereas against Mosley he was tipped to win. Cotto was back to his best in his next fight.

I think there is enough probable cause to open an investigation and change the verdict

Can't make definitve measures until there is definitive proof.

IN the minds of most fans though the fight IS a no contest, which is significant.

In that case no, as we can't prove anything.

We know Mosley cheated in the 2nd DLH fight and the result never changed to a DQ loss (which should be the correct result in these cheat cases), so don't expect them to change Margarito-Cotto without any kind of evidence.

there will never be a definitive proof that margo did use padding in his their fight so no. if the cotto fight will be changes to a no contest, all of margo's fights should no contests.

What more proof do we need? Definitely, the right thing to do is change it to a No contest .

what proof do you have? unless margo's handwraps from that fight miraculously resurface and are tested positive for plaster of paris, you have nothing.

No. Margo won that fight with a steel jaw and a will to fight. Cotto brought shite stamina and no heart.

For ****'s sake, you've answered the question yourself.

No, it should NOT be changed. I wish there was a way to know for sure. But there isn't. You can't change a verdict because something might have happened. That's just stupid.

as long as there is no definitive proof of margarito using plaster in that fight, then the result stays as it is.

Officially the result stays the same. No actual physical proof. But, anyone with a shred of brain knows the REAL truth... Look at how Margs KO mpercentage actually went Way up as the level of his opposition improved. Also, the horrid condition of Cooto`s face is ample evidence that Margs has been cheating for quite some time. As for Cotto`s heart, he showed a lot more heart than Margacheato did went he got pounded by Mosely. I don`t get why anyone would still be a Margs fan after this stunt he pulled??? I mean really, is there anything worse than pulled padding or doctored hands to illegally bludgeon your opponent? Kind of breaks a code of integrity, don`t ya think?
