These two faithful boxing servants at 140, winner gets a shot at the WBO title currently held by Bradley.

Who would win (pure fantasy, no sources)

My pick, Bailey by K.O, would love to see Augustus win an ABC title before he retires though.

As Augustus was robbed against Figoura (spelling) and Bailey decked him it would be logical (and fun) to see these two square off on an undercard sometime soon :good

fleaman, i think you read the mine of me and im sure many others by putting up this matchup. :good

i really dont know how long in the tooth augustus is after all those brutal fights (brutal couragous fights with ward, mayweather and diaz among many others:!:)

i think augustus will make it interesting and i think that he could take baileys shots, he took shots from kelson pinto, teddy reid, leavander johnson and floyd mayweather.

im a big fan of augustus but its hard, baily has alot of tools besides power. my heart says augustus but the only way i see him winning is if he can wear down baily, body punching like hurtado would be a good idea. otherwise i have a feeling that baily by close but clear decision.

It's over for Emanuel. I really think Bailey would stop him at this point. Sorry to say it.

Augustus is still a pleasure to watch - very entertaining - and a pretty good boxer. If anything - he'll make the fight interesting - regardless to whether he wins or not.

i have to take emanual. always entertaining, always full of heart and fun at the same time. if (big if) he sits on his punches, uses his incredible defense and awarness in the ring to give him an advantage in the geometry of the ring he wins. and he beats almost every jr welter in the world. but, he will get caught up in his own antics for too long, annoy the judges, and lose by decision. it is the augustus way. i still want to see him lose more then i want to see most guys win!!

I'll watch Augustus lose against anybody. When he wins, it's just icing on the cake.

Would just love to see him fight again. Supreme entertainer with a strange/very effective defense. Robbed far too many times

Augustus has been on the decline for a couple of years now. And when I mentioned it when I first spotted it, I was heckled on here. I get punished for knowing what I'm on about. Typical.

I know Augustus has been on the decline, but it's not affecting how I feel as a fan and I'm sure I'm not the only one. He's kind of like an Arturo Gatti in that way, just without a real home city like Atlantic City to fight in for years and years after his prime.

I love the Drunken Master, but Bailey would beat him easily. He'll never win a world title and has never looked close to winning one. He's just not world title material. And to be honest, he doesn't really deserve a shot.

Since you've only got 41 posts, I figured I'd check for your post on that, but couldn't find one.
