Should Cotto's defeat be changed to a 'No Contest'

    Doesn't la pegada mean punch? Couldn't they be saying Cotto has no punch, that he wasn't hurting Margo?

    Team Cotto had every opportunity to inspect Margo's wraps. I wonder what they have to say?

    la pegada is "the hit" puño is "punch"...why would Capetillo quickly silence the guy that asked Margarito about "the hit"? they way they said it also made it seem even more suspicious....i'll post the video when i have more time (im at work right now) :tired

    According to Dan Rafael, supposedly the only person present in Margarito's dressing room was Cotto's lawyer.

    But I wonder as well what they would have to say. I'd like to hear statements from Evangelista Cotto regarding this as well as comments from the lawyer himself.

    i seriously doubt he asked the question with that intention....why would Capetillo silence him saying "no ninguna pegada"...he even pointed @ the cornerman who asked Margarito, to basically shut up......here's the video, fast forward to about 1:50 and for those of you who know spanish listen closely, even the translator didnt know wat to say :lol: but w/e i just honestly wanna see Cotto beat Clottey in convincing fashion...lmao the commentating was biased as ****, i thought all the commentators were going to get in the ring and munch on Cotto's nuts, ****......:lol:

    Yes it should be changed to a No Contest. I wouldn't feel bad if they completely change Margarito's entire record to No Contests, his half dozen losses don't count.

    There's no need for proof really. If Margarito did it against a 37 year old WAY past his best Mosley in a fight where Margarito was a HUGE favorite and expected to win then do you think he won't do it going in against Cotto where he was the huge underdog and not expected to lose?

    The Cotto fight was basically his last shot at the big time and he always begged to be in that position, of course he's going to cheat to make it through. Even the fight's result had question marks all over them as no one ever came close to doing that to Cotto then comes a limited to death fighter like Margarito and does it?

    So he adopted skills and insane ability overnight?, doesn't make sense to me.
