Probably close to the truth Teke.. although his intensity at the highest level was very short lived... One ****ed Up Charactor. Its a shameful situation for a guy like him to shot by his late 20's. He must have been through hell... I Think his own 'heaven' led him there.
I still maintain that the Buster Douglas who showed up that night in Tokyo would have gone close to beating anyone from any era. Very big call but for that one night he caught and bottled lightning. Tyson at his peak was good but not the best ever imo.
Tooooo many negatives invovled in Tyson life prior to the fight... His lightening was bottled before the weigh in. ..... 23 y/o at the time.
He's not even close to the best ever. He was a great fighter but over-rated by sooo many. One of the finest examples of a "what could have been" story there's ever been.
