Should Cotto's defeat be changed to a 'No Contest'

Cotto's face proves nothing, and a lot of fighters actually get a higher level of KOs as they go through the ranks for some reason, Witter for instance. And what about Tommy Hearns - he was a complete non-puncher in the amateurs so it's clear he used plaster of paris for his pro career, isn't it?

    For ****'s sake....

The fights were in two different states with two different commissions. Shane also is the more durable fighter with the better chin which would make him a much more ideal fighter load wraps against than Cotto.

" FINITO " are you holding hands with " Trouble-Man " right now?
It seems you two say the exact same thing...over and over and over and....

Perhaps I need to be more direct with. Different states have different standards. If team Margo felt that the standards in Cali were much more relaxed than Nevada, they would be more inclinded to cheat.

Taking the portions of the post that are FACT beyond question, it then becomes a matter of judgment as to whether or not Marg was cheating in the cotto fight.

This is the kind of judgment that juries engage in when faced with evidence, especially circumstantial evidence.

In this case, I have concluded that there is not sufficient, IMO, to change the result.

That is not to say that Marg has not provided clear grounds for doubt here.

Denial does not enter into it.

A cheater is a cheater....a cheater doesn't look for ways not to cheat, but the contrary...a cheater looks for ways to cheat.

A cheater will cheat in the day as well as the night....

Let me be more direct with you....MARGIE is a SORRY ASS CHEATER!!!!

This is, believe it or not, is not a fact but an opinion.

    I would agree with this.

    This is another opinion

    This is indeed an opinion

That's great, but my whole point is that we don't have enough to go on to say that Margo cheated against Cotto

I feel the decision should stand....thats my opinion.

I am also not saying categorically that Margie had loaded gloves for the Cotto fight.

However, everything seems to point in that direction.

I am saying that Margie is a sorry ass disgraceful cheater!!!

    No, it is a fact.

Circumstantial evidence can be defined as " a collection of facts that, when considered together, can be used to infer a conclusion about something unknown."

Marg was caught cheating in a big fight. He illegally enhanced the powere of his punches.

He prevailed in his previous fight, in good part due to his heavy punches.

That constitutes circumstantial evidence that he cheated in the Cotto fight.

The weight and significance of the evidence is open to debate, but not the existence of the circumstantial evedence.

That's why I stated that the evidence was inconclusive and that the result should stand.

From the moment of the revelation of Marg's attempt to cheat, Re-examination began, of his earlier victories.
