Better option. A very rugged and unstylish fighter. Just the kind to make Tysons game turn to brawling... Tyson Ko 3.
Mike's biggest problem is that when the going got tough, he often didn't. It'd take big efforts by the ATG's to beat him, but plenty do. The fact he didn't show up ready in Tokyo lies squarely at his feet. Money does that to a kid from the ghetto I guess.
Jack Sharkey might be a another, better option. His style might have caused Mike to lose his head and anything could have followed.
The exhibitions given by both warranted a victory.. both having been ripped off for the title, yet, Louis was a target.. very ponderous. The KO of Walcott is shocking to say the least.. Just like Billy Conn, he won the majority of the rounds, only to fail in the KO department as Joe was hit often enough to inscribe EVERLAST on his own head. Charles was ripped off, hence Louis was to become his supporter of the H/W claimancy. Charles was a former middleweight.. I believe Ken Overlin beat him... didn't our great Fred Henneberry take a victory off Overlin?? That time of the H/W scene is nostalgic.. and nostalgia is responsible for shortcomings in relevance.
You've picked at Tysons percieved downfalls but have not touched on the ATG opponents. Anyway im out time for dis dude to hit the sack
Sharkey would have been belted in the nuts again.. and again.. and agian.. the poor bloke seems to attract more low blows than a Thai Dwarfs arse hole.
Admit it, you must've enjoyed watching him bounce his head like Magic Johnson with a Spalding in his palm...
