Williams has changed his style,from the quintana 1 fight and now it seems,williams is really living up to his name,because he pretty much made verno phillips quit,with a bad cut over his eye.I think right now and williams will overwelm winky with punches coming from all angles,williams is just too active right now and i see him going to winky's body early,while winky goe's in his shell.In the end i got paul williams by 11th round tko,i know i might be crazy,but i think williams will land great bodyshots on winky throughout the fight and it will pay off in the late rounds.
Winky could beat Williams. It's entirely possible that even though Winky blocks the majority of Paul's punches - that Williams could manage to outwork him. If Winky keeps blocking - he won't be punching. Williams could win rounds on activity alone without ever actually hurting Wright.
The key is, Winky will be inside of Paul's punches, so he'll be able to reach Paul FIRST and more importantly, MORE EFFECTIVELY.
Been a while since I watched it, but my memory is that Verno wanted to continue, expressed that, and could definitely have done that. The ref stopped that fight.
