Any of the top level modern fighters, whose legacy could well have been handicapped by being limited to twelve round championship fights. In comparision to greats of yesteryear.

Chavez seems like one of those guys who would've been better under 15 rounds. The Taylor fight would've been a slaughter if continued into the 13th.

Other fighters who seemed to be hitting thier stride about the 12th round are: Joe Calzaghe, Bernard Hopkins, Pernell Whitaker, Evander Holyfield, Erik Morales, JM Marquez, John Tapia.

Definitely in agreement as far as JM Marquez is concerned, he'd probably be 2-0 against Pacman had their fights been over 15 rounds, and his other controversial losses to Norwoodand John could well have been different if he'd had an extra 3 rounds.

tito always came on stronger as a fight progressed. so does ricky hatton.

antonio margarito would of been better in the 15 round days (dodgy handwraps or not)

Ray Leonard benefitted and was also handicapped by the 12 rounders.......

SRL was smart to fight Hagler in a scheduled 12 rounder in 1987.... I scored the fight for SRL---BARELY!!

SRL really could've used an additional "3" rds more in 1989 against Hearns in Vegas..... Hearns was fully spent and ready to go in the final 12th rd., where as SRL seemed like he found a third surge of energy..... I think SRL would've TKO'd Hearns again in the 13, 14 or 15th rd....

Chavez was the first name that popped into my head as well.

I think de la Hoya would of benefited big time from 15 rounders.

Hopkins would of made an excellent 15 round fighter.

Calzaghe would of only benefited from 15 rounders.

I think Virgil Hill would not lose much with the extra championship rounds.

Anyone else think Calzaghe could have possibly have stopped Hopkins with 3 more rounds? B-Hop was struggling with the pace, even though it obviously ended very close.

Yes due to the pace Calzaghe fights at. He was fine against Pavlik because he's so slow.
