In light of Julio Diaz' loss to Reyes and the baby bull's consecutive losses to Nate Campbell and Marquez via knockout, let's discuss how good this guy really is.

hes very good, i think he gets discouraged when he tastes his own blood, against nate u could make an argument the head butt lead to his demise against marquez he was fighting a special kind of fighter may be he just wasnt ready for a fighter of marquezes status i hope he comes back strong and beats valero

Also Juarez went the distance aginst JMM and his cut was much much worse. And Diaz couldn't knock out Katsidis who is very knockoutable especially at the elite level. And i thought old man Freitas was schooling Diaz in the first 4 rounds before he started to gas.

trust me man i am not one of those fans

I've been saying Diaz was nothing special since his fight against popo

also, its nothing personal, just my opinion of him compared to the other top fighters.

I think when Marquez leaves the lightweight division, Diaz will rule it, hes very good IMO.

Funny when he got ko'd and his little fat legs went up in the air:thumbsup

Agreed. Nate and JMM were cagey vets who would always beat him. If his chin isn't cracked he should beat everyone else in the division. Valero, Funeka, Guzman and whoever else. Only guys like Campbell, JMM and the beast they call Pacman will beat him.

bro, he unified at a really young age against really good guys and some are borderline great "skillwise".....the nate loss was a really close fight, and i believe juan m marquez is just too great

He's very good, but what he lacks the ability to adjust when things get tough and of course, he lacks power. You have to be able to hurt your opponent when things aren't going your way like what happened with Campbell and JMM.
