He's a better fighter than when he fought Bute the first time, and he's a MUCH better fighter than when he fought Kessler. He feints, ducks under punches, bobs and weaves, blocks punches with his guard. anyone else notice the difference?
Yea I was thinking about this after his last fight, I would love to see Bute vs Andrade 2... looking forward to it.
It takes time for a new coach to make a difference. i think Andrade improved but I don't know how much.
normally i would say that but he is doing things that he wasn't even attempting to do before. Even against shitty opposition
Yes he definitely added some new tricks in his bag...Howard is doing a good job with him...But it will not be enough for the 2nd fight against Bute...
Andrade has improved but I can still see Bute just being able to outlast Andrade again and win on points, but Andrade has to get started early if he wants to beat Bute.
I completely agree. His offensive game hasn't developed that much (although he does throw the jab a bit more now), but defensively he's improved a LOT, and he even almost has sort of a sneaky slickness about him sometimes. I still agree with the first half of his interview statement. Bute will ALWAYS outbox Andrade. It's just a question of whether he can outlast Andrade. I'm pretty confident that he learned from his mistakes in the first fight and will do a better job at conserving his energy. Also, Bute's head movement was considerably better against Zuniga than it was against Andrade, so it's not like Bute isn't also improving.
Offensively, the uppercut is getting even better, IMO. Other than that, all I can add is "co-sign" to most everything here.
