So what if Manny went up to 154 and beat DLH. Then came back down to 147 to fight Paul Williams, he is coming down to fight someone smaller?

    Wow thats just :patsch

first off manny didnt fight delahoya at 154. He fought him at 147 and williams is now fighting at 160 lbs. So manny is really the smaller of the two.:good

The point is mayweather is now a welterweight so it doesn't matter where he started. At this point of his career if he fights someone like holt or timothy bradley. He is considered the bigger boxers of the two since he is a welterweight and is fighting a jr welterweight. :good

But still by your logic IF Manny fought DLH at 154 and came back and fought Margo or Williams at 147, you would consider Manny coming down to fight a smaller guy.

Also, Margo fought at 154, he's now fighting at 147 and by your logic fighting only smaller guys.

Same with Hatton fighting at 140, he fought at 147 so hes fighting smaller guys.

Also, Floyd is fighting smaller guys at 147. I mean, he fought at 154. He shouldn't fight guys at 147 cause he fought at 154 meaning hes fighting smaller guys at 147.

    :patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch:patsch

just a question eze, do you consider pbf a natural welter or a jr. welter? i get what vitor is trying to point out. even if manny fought dela hoya at 154, if its not his natural weight (which i think is 140) if he fights williams at 147, he's still the smaller fighter. if you consider pbf a natural welter, then he's the bigger guy when he fight jr. welters.

Natural as in like what he would of fought at in the old days?

If thats the question he is a WW.

But he could make 140 today if he wanted to.

He's never weighed more than 150 fighting as a WW on fight night.

I think against Judah he lost a lb after the weigh in.

Floyd fought Dlh at his weight(154)...came down, and fought Hatton...and guys still said Hatton was the naturally bigger man until Hatton lost, then they said he was too small for Floyd. Floyd is still smaller than the average ww. Judah was bigger than Floyd at 147, and you saw how much bigger Clottey was than Judah. Floyd was tall for 130, 135, and maybe 140. Floyd is probably more of a natural 140, but I don't see him as a small 147. Floyd has the style to beat anyone at 147.

I consider floyd a natural Feather. He was at his best there. I understand him Moving up because the competetion wasnt at its best there.

Fighters will always Be at there best at there wieghts check the KO %.
The bigger they blow themselves up the harder it is to KO people. The easier they Gas. The Lack of intesity. Only Gifted Fighters can do this.

Shane last fight at light he could not put away the Beast. He struggled to make weight. and he became weaker. He moved up and KOd a man that I think has never even touched the canvas or never been kod quote me if im wrong.

If Shane and Floyd Meet at 157 Shane will still be the bigger person.
I cant speak on paul because I only seen him fight a handful of times and cant keep up which division he fights in. He moves up and down so much it will catch up to him if he moves up and puts muscle on because when you burn your muscle like david ried and roy jones. Your Shot.

but in shane defense he use to be a body builder in high school which may have something to do with him eventually not making wieght at light anymore because he does like to lift weights. But still I look at him and I see a pure welter.

    oscar is a natural lightweight.

Floyd is great. A true Boxing Picasso who won titles in multiple weight divisions. Hell yea he's naturally small guy but his supreme boxing ability combined with his vision allowed him to move up and remain successful against naturally bigger fighters.

Floyd is the TROOF p4p #1 and pacman is only renting his position.

he struggles to maintain uphill wieght. which further proves my point
smaller fighters need a few fights to settle in there unatural class

floyd has been fighting as the smaller guy his whole career, corrales, castillo, baldomir, dlh those are some examples.

I don't understand why all these pac fans tend to degrade floyd, could it be that floyd returning is a threat to their hero and the p4p#1 spot?:deal

well I think Floyd's fans are frustrated that Floyd does not get respect as a great fighter, so they keep bringing him up. Floyd is not great . He has not beaten any prime great fighters. How can he be considered great until he beats one. If he comes out of retirement now and beats Pacman before Pacman looks a little banged up and then beats Shane by knockout, then maybe he will be looked on better. He just does not have the resume as a great fighter.
