He can fight inside, but thats not his style.

And yeah he had Quartey stunned. That was 3 years ago? And Quarteys best weight was 147.

I just dont see it happening. Williams is a hellish style matchup for Wright.

    Going on 4 years now.

See my point? Wright's last fight was at 170. Maybe he gets a good punch in now and then, like with Taylor, but its always notable when it happens. No fighter ever comments on Wright hitting harder than they thought. He isnt feathfisted, but he just doesnt have KO power at all. His power punches are marginal at best. And Williams has a great chin. To presume Wright is going to get a stoppage is pretty foolhardy

I agree with everything in bold, but I think that its a hellish style matchup for PW. We'll see what happens, I like both fighters, but I think Winky is just too much for PW.

BTW I agree that a KO for Winky would be a total shock, certainly moreso than Williams winning and almost as shocking it would be if PW KOd Winky.

Both fighters are lousy to fight for anyone.

Im thinking Williams workrate, size, reach, and youth win him this one. I dont expect a stoppage from either man. This is definitely going to go the distance

Williams has alot of holes. Technically, these two aren't even close in my opinion. Wright is a couple levels above Williams. Williams has youth, size, reach. Wright has the skills though. This may be an embarrassing night for Williams.

These might be two completely different class of fighters we're dealing with. Margo gave Williams absolute hell. Williams couldn't beat Margo 9-3, but he's gonna beat Winky by a wide UD such as that. NO WAY! Look what Mosley did to Margo, how badly he out-classed him. Don't be surprised if the guy who outclassed Mosley, will do the same to Williams.

:good Plus Williams level of opposition just doesn't comes close to Winky's.

But I gotta give props to Williams for going up to 160 and fighting one of the top fighters there.

Wright's power is better than advertised. Ask Shane Mosley.

I don't get you when you say that's not his style.

Winky is a fighter that adapts. He'll adapt to Paul and use his speed to get inside of Paul's long arms and do work on the inside.

You know, it probably won't be a KO, but it will be one of those fights were it's completely one sided and people will be astonished that Paul was able to finish without quitting and equally impressed by the speed precision, and the overall performance of "OLD MAN" Winky.

And no Winky doesn't have KO power, but the volume of punches thrown on Paul, especially to his body will at least put the thought of quiting in his head, especially considering the fight will be so one sided in favor of Winky.

I doubt Winky Wright will win by knockout. Wright hits like a sissy and Williams has a pretty good chin. I am picking Wright to get the nod but I doubt he will even hurt Williams, nevermind knock him out.

I think getting Winky on a points handicap in this fight could be golden.

Something like +12.5 -115 is what I'm looking for.

Neither guy is getting stopped I'd almost bet my like on it. This fight is a pick em because you just don't know what Winky will have left. I would never put money on a fight like this. Wright could still have it and outclass Williams or he could be shot and take a lopsided UD loss.
