    Good points.

    Since Hatton will be pressuring i think manny will use his good lateral movement and be able to counter well with his speed but can manny take a good solid punch from Hatton, that will be the difference.

    Did you just make a post without mentioning Glass Jaws?!?!

    I don't think the ref will make that much difference but it could just edge it slightly out from 50/50 if say its cortez and he allows zero clinching as in the FMJ fight

    sure its always been 50/50.

    but hatton needing to close in on pac and pac needing to keep hatton away, pac's 50 is easily bigger than hattons 50 based on assignments alone. :yep

    I agree with this.

    Hatton can't win on the outside, and I don't think he can win, or go the distance, trying to walk Manny down while being countered mercilessly. And there are very few questions in my mind regarding Manny's mental or physical toughness.

    I was worried Manny wouldn't be focused for this fight, but everything I'm reading and seeing suggests he's taking the fight 100% seriously. If he comes in with the complete focus he usually brings, he stops Hatton inside of 10.

    I think Hatton is actually going to win a UD here, probably a pretty close one. I just don't think Pac's style works well against someone who is going to be using his bigger size to such an advantage. IMO, Hatton's style is a great one to use against smaller fighters.

    i would agree that his physical style works better against smaller opponents. the question then becomes will he be able to withstand all the shots he's gonna take b/c he is gonna get hit and get hit often. i don't think he will get hit as much as diaz/odlh, so does that mean that pac can't stop him? i mean pac beat diaz like he stole something and it still took a while for diaz to finally go down. that's not saying pac can't do it but it does mean its confusing the hell outta me

    Hopefully hatton will win because i am a hatton fan and hopefully the haters will give him is due if he beats pac.
