Moving up to lightweight when he has unfinished business at lightweight. What a dick.

He will say he wants to fight Prescott again but never will and hes fighting Kotelnic.

I think he his monouvering for a fight with Ricky Hatton should he lose to Pacman.

Hopefully someone executes him again soon :hi:

There is a video of him saying that Kotelnik is the weakest champion out there.....

well looks like he is going to try and get a belt the only way he knows he can... fight the weakest possible opponent ...

Not the worst fight out there, but I still want to know why he moved up, wasnt he Paulus Moses' #1 contender? (BTW not to be a know it all but hes moving up to Light Welterweight not to Lightweight)

yes i know hes moving to light welter

I think hes working his ticket. He knows a fight with Breidus would be to risky.

He was also mandatory for Marquez strap but the chances are he will relinquish rather than fight this joker.

    Since your stoned its OK.

Anyway, I have no love for Iron Man Khan; but I do think this is a hard fight for him (the bookies have it as a 50/50 fight as far as I know).

If he did fight Hatton, I don't just think Khan would lose I think he would get totally ruined as a fighter.

    Hope they get it on.

    Slight fav is still ok.

Kotelnik is a good stand-up type of boxer, has all the fundamentals nailed down, and took Witter to a close decision back when Junior was No.2 in the division. He's solid if unspectacular, but that might be enough to de-rail Khan.

Saying that, seeing that the fight is in England, I would expect Khan to shoeshine combo his way to a close victory, but I wouldn't discount a Kotelnik KO.............Khan's chin is that bad.

I think the hate is mainly because he has got so much so soon. He has been rushed since his first fight. Everyone was desperate for him to step up in class. People need to realise his age. I think he should have been waiting another 3 years for his first title shot. I dont like the idea of him being a champ right now. He must know himself that he doesn't deserve it. With the belt on the line however. It will make a rematch with presscot a little more interesting.

I feel like if he fought Prescott, he would beat him this time. But, that is just me.

This fight is a step up in class.
