i think so far Gomez has acomplished more than Haye...lets see where is Haye at 35
would have been interesting seen them both at cruise at gomez prime.
but neither of them belong to HW,gomez lack the power and Haye the chin.

Gomez is at the end of his career whereas Haye is still in his prime. That can affect the way a man performs in the ring. In terms of talent and skills there isn't really too much to separate them. Both of them have the ability to beat the Klitschkos if they come to fight all 12 rounds. Gomez didn't want it bad enough and performed rather poorly. We will see how hungry Haye is.

I'll buy that...... Who has Haye really fought at 220 pounds??? I'm sorry but the limited Montell Barrett isn't gonna slice the cheese with me.....
    :huh:bbb
Gomez does / did look soft against V.K. at 230 pounds, but I could tell Gomez has some skills and knew what he was trying to do.... V.K. was just too much of a beast for Gomez.....:deal:cool:

Truthfully, I have NEVER seen Haye fight before..... I know very little of Haye....... People point out his chin is very chinny..... Why so?? Is Haye being handling like Gerry Cooney was early on?? You know, fighting every blue moon against bums, stiffs & old farts, etc..?

I have seen Gomez fight 2 X now..... I saw Gomez beat my man Ollie McCall on points in the rematch, and now his losing effort to V.K. a few weeks back...... Gomez can box and take a good shot to the chops..... I gotta credit the dull Gomez there......

Are we talking about a prime Gomez? If so then Gomez is better, but if its the current Gomez then Haye is better.

Not more skilled, but much more unorthodox, which might give Wlad some problems. I think this was the best comment of the thread:
