You cant possibly make an accurate call based on De La Hoya Pacquiao for several reasons 1) Hatton and Delahoya have two totally different styles of fighting 2) Oscar was past his better years hatton still has a ways to go 3) Oscar was weight drained in that fight hasnt fought at 147 since Gatti back in 2000 while 140 is Hattons best fighting weight 4) Oscar has only won three fights in the last five years, Strum (Which some question this win) Mayorga (So~) and Forbes (seriously?) While Ricky has only lost one fight and that was to Floyd Mayweather jr which isnt exactly a bad thing. Basicly the way I see it, Manny has faced some Punchers no doubt, Morales, Barrera and De La Hoya, along with Marquez twice, alot of people argue that the marquez fights were close enough to be losses and Marquez did win more rounds. The De La Hoya Morales and Barrera fights were all good match making calls, Team Pacquiao took those fights because those guys were at the end of their better days. Sorry but I think Manny gets rocked in this one.
if hatton's left hook to the body is such a fearsome weapon, why is it that he wasn't able to KO both malignaggi and lazcano with it? and aside from an old, shot Castillo, who else did hatton KO with that left hook to the body?
its okay to say you beleive Pacquiao would win, but honestly if they are not shot who has Manny stopped that is worth mentioning?
Oscar was far past his best mentally but not physically and not weight drained. This is 90 percent the same Oscar Floyd fought but took no chances and 100 percent the Oscar who fought ''two pounds''
An "old and shot" Castillo who was in the P4P Top Ten at the time and the heavy favourite going into the fight :verysad
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBfeUVJfZME&feature=related Some of his earlier fights..... There are alot of Body shot KO's in there
No Oscar was not at his best Physically even Manny Pacquiaos trainer said that Oscar was weight drained there is a video around in which Freddy talks about that. seriously if you really beleive that you should just leave
castillo was p4p top 10 at that time and heavy favorite?! you better give some proof of this. :deal the guy even had great difficulty making 140. that's why he's even fighting at welterweight now.
nah, can't you see that he looks like a semi-retired fighter, more like a promoter in here? This content is protected
The fight was in 2007. You either have a really **** memory, or you haven't been watching boxing for very long.
Watch the interview with Roach at the 1 min mark smart ass, this is Mannys own trainer and he has a bit more insight regarding the sport than anybody here. [yt]H0rCgdocMAE[/yt]
