Arriba might BE Buddy. This **** is getting scary. :D

Nazeem's **** is classic. I swear I wrote down that jive he was yelling at Shane during the Margarito fight. "We're gonna knock the grease off him, and swim without getting wet!" Then Merchant and Lampley asked Manny to translate wtf he meant, and Manny had no idea.

I think they picked up alot of that junk off of Bouie Fisher.

"Ooooooooooooooh Ooooooooooscar! Body shot! Body shot!"

Hahaha!!! yes! McGirt would work good for cotto, he can train him like he brought back gatti for a while plus i like seeing McGirt with his pimp daddy cane glasses so much flash just like the jab.... "now drink some water baby and pop that jab."

IMO the perfect trainer would be Eddie Mustafa Muhammad

Roach would be great but has too many super stars in his stable,

Floyd sr would be great but he isn't training anyone else after Hatton because of his illness,

Nazim Richardson is one of the best, but he is more of a tactician than a trainer, and Cotto also needs some tuning,

Roger mayweather is a bad ass but i cant see Miguel understanding a word from him

IMO Dan Birmingham is a great choice, he has a pretty good stable and knows the game inside out, he always comes with a great gameplan.

    After the fight

Larry Merchant- I'm here with Buddy McGirt, Miguel Cotto's trainer....Buddy....why....did you stop the fight?

Buddy McGirt- Well ya know I'm not gonna let my fighter take unnecessary punishment. He just wasn't doin what we worked on and I stopped it. I love my fighters too much to let them take that punishment.

Larry Merchant- Did you know Cotto was winning on all 3 scorecards by a large margin...when you decided to stop the fight.

Buddy McGirt- That's your opinion Larry.

Larry Merchant- No Buddy, I saw the official cards. He was winning.

Buddy McGirt- Like I said Larry that's there opinion. My opinion was that he was doing what he needed to do in there. He wasn't poppin the jab he wasn't doing what we worked on so I decided to stop it.

Larry Merchant- But he was win....-sigh- forget it. I'm off to the bar back to you Jim.
