I went to watch a game at Millwall last year and I was almost beat up by some skin head Hooligans for having brown skin so please dont tell me England has eradicated this problem.
Welsh fans alright go to cardiff or a sawnsea game and then say they are more respectful throwing coins at referees. Everybody knows millwall have a problem.
The real point I wanted to make to Hatton fans was that they need more inspiring songs and stop singing the same one over and over. Not all Hatton fans are hooligans I accept that and I am sorry if I offended anyone.
here's only one Ricky Hatton, One Ricky Hatton, Walking along, Singing this song, Walking in a Hatton wonderland. Hatton fans also like to taunt the opponent by singing "Who are ya?", a popular English football chant.
Yeah what ever mate you get around to a lot of football matches dont you Following not just arsenal but notts forrest etc.. Funny how you then pick out the mst notorious club in english football, there are lots of different colored fans go to mill wall i doubt you have even seen the new den let alone been there. :yep funny how you come out with this story after your hooligan bs was blown out of the water :hey Why don't you look at the stats for arrests at english football matches to the rest of europe, you can take your kids to football now with no worries. so anyway STFU you don't no what you are talking about you muppett, either proove england has a hooligan problem or **** off :good
For those who say Hatton is overrated look at his glittering record: * The Ring magazine's World Light Welterweight Champion * IBO World Light Welterweight Champion * Lineal 140 pound Light Welterweight Champion * Former 2x IBF World Light Welterweight Champion * Former WBA World Light Welterweight Champion * Former WBA World Welterweight Champion * Former WBU Light Welterweight Champion * Former British Light Welterweight Champion * Former WBO Inter-Continental Light Welterweight Champion * Former WBA Inter-Continental Light Welterweight Champion * Former British Central Area Light Welterweight Champion * The Ring magazine's 2005 'Fighter of the Year' * ABA National Champion Light Welterweight 1997 * ABA National Junior Champion (Class A) Light Welterweight 1995,1996 * ABA National Junior Champion (Class B) Light Welterweight 1997 * ABA National Junior Champion (Class C) Light Welterweight 1994.
Calm down man I was just joking around and I was telling the truth about Notts Forest and Arsenal and yeah I was talking **** about being at a Millwall game. [YT]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/giT59xxnpOA&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/giT59xxnpOA&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/YT] No hard feelings! But seriously I am begging Hatton fans to come up with some more inspiring songs for the hitman.
LOL the 2 most hated rivals and worst clubs in english history still that was 14 years ago. Anyway no hard feelings i just get fed up of people knocing the english/british all the time, if its not the americans (who we always back up) its the europeans or just a collective of abuse at our fighters and our people. Kinda grinds you down
I see your point. I'm sick of hearing that song too. However, you didn't answer my question. What other fighter has their own song chanted by their fans wherever they go? I can't think of any. I was at the Hatton v Castillo fight where everyone was singing it - good times! Then I was at the Hatton v Mayweather fight where everyone was singing it - ok getting a bit repetative now! I watched the Hatton v Lazcano fight on tv where everyone was singing it - my ears are starting to bleed! I understand completely where you're coming from. However these are boxing fans, not football fans (on the whole), so it's not easy to just come up with a new one. Most football songs are based round player names, so there are many, many to choose from... "Ooh Aah Cantona, Say Ooh Aah Cantona" "He's fat, He's Round, He Bounces on the Ground, Sammy Lee, Sammy Lee" "Rooooooooney, Rooooooooney" Or based on historic rivalries e.g. B&HAFC and Palace "P-A-L-A-C-E, Stevie Coppell's got V.D., With a Nick Nack Paddy Whack, Give a Dog a Bone, Crystal Palace **** Off Home" etc. etc. I'd love to hear a new Hatton chant I can sing along to at the Pacquiao fight. If anyone can come up with a decent one, post it here. I'll sing it, I'll get everyone else singing it, and if you're going to the fight, I'll buy you drinks all night long!!
I agree with you it is uncommon for boxing fans to sing songs during fights and the Hatton fans bring an amazing atmosphere to the arena. It is easy to criticize so I will try to come up with some chants my self. What rhymes with Hatton?
