i get the feeling rjj will take a lacy fight

I mean it's like a super HR hitter who can't hit the fastball anymore. Imagine having to cope with the fact that your livelihood is/has faded in front of your very eyes and you can't do something you used to do easily before. Something you've done all your life.

To put it in simpler terms, RJJ is in that post-breakdown pre-viagra stage for middle aged men.

 

I think it'll happen - the Florida angle sells well and, in it's way, it makes sense to both guys. Roy, as stated, gets a name that'll go on tv and a win (I'm sure he takes this); Lacy gets his best payday available.

I guess it just hinges on if Lacy wants to keep fighting beatable opponents or if he sees the writing on the wall and is due to just check out with the best payday possible.

 

Depending on who you believe, there's a rumor floating around that he will be presented a contract to step in and face Adamek on July 11th. Again it's a rumor but apparently the sides are talking. In fact it's extremely likely it'll happen.

The other option is Danish star Mikkel Kessler.

To be fair I don't know which is worse.

According to Ziggy Rozalski, the manager of Adamek, talks have begun with Jones and John Wirt from Square Ring. “John Wirt said it’s very interesting,” said Rozalski. “Roy’s interested. We’re interested.”

So it sounds like discussions are at least underway.

 

I would probably either not watch it or have a hard time watching Jones vs Adamek...only because you know what'll happen. At some point a right hand is gonna be let go by Adamek...and RJJ is going to try to dodge it with head movement because he did it so many times during the 90s...except those days are gone.

Once that right hand lands on Jones, it'll be a sad sight.

 

tell me you're joking..dawson would embarrase jones and hopkins would hurt him..jones cant compete on that level..he should fight lacy..cause lacy is trash
