As a Wlad fan, part of me wants Haye to win this match.

I like both fighters, although I'm a longtime Wlad fan...he actually got me into boxing about 7 years ago.

However, it might be better for the division if Haye actually somehow pulls this win off. The Klitschkos have got their dream and are #1 and #2 in the division...but it would be nice to see one of them lose or get stirred up, so that there could be more fights between them. If Haye wins, there will be a rematch or another fight with Vitali, both of which will be pretty damn exciting.

Maybe eventually, get Chagaev and Povetkin fighting in there and we will finally have some damn good HW fights.

I feel the same way that if Haye won it would generate more interest in boxing because Haye has more charisma and a more exciting style.

My hope is that he sparks out Wlad with shocking ease... Wlad forgoes the rematch... setting up a real HW super fight with big bro Vitali.

That's about the most exciting scenario that could happen in this dull, lack-luster HW division right now. IMO

    Bets scenario is:

    1. Haye beats Wlad.
    2. Wlad passes Haye on to Vitali. Wlad takes a different match (perhaps wins a WBA belt?)
    3. Haye beats Vitali. Vitali retires, leaving Wlad to go for it all.
    4. Haye vs Wlad II Winner is THE MAN.

Haye has very little chance of winning. His power is not proven at heavy- Bonin is a C level guy, and Barret has, at this point, been stopped by Cliff Couser. We know his chin isn't going to hold.

No offense to the man or his fans. Haye-CAhagaev would be a great fight. There are other guys who he could beat.

As for who SHOULD win based on what is good for boxing, I understand the logic, but Wladdy cannot afford another loss to his legacy. At some point, if Wlad keeps winning, people will have to recognize that they are watching a great champ.

David Haye winning this fight would be great for our sport. Heavyweight boxing has beeen sooooo damn boring in recent years.

Wlad is not THE Champ. He's A Champ. As long as Vitali and Wlad hold belts there is no "THE Champ".

This is one huge reason why Haye winning is better. It frees up the chance for a unified champion.

    Wlad is The Champ.

No one in the heavyweight division had Wlads resumee.

He had 15 World-Championship fights. Mandatories and unifies the titles.

you said when the details of the negotiations came out we`d see that Haye was acting like the king of the division, and that the delay in signing was all his fault!!
