Didn't Warren promote MAB for a while?

Warren did have some sort of promotional ties with Barrera during the late 90's/early 00's.
Barrera actually fought at the Royal Albert Hall on a Warren show, stopping Paul Lloyd. On the same bill was Ricky Hatton, Danny Williams-Julius Francis, Takaloo, Ensley Bingham, Toks Owoh and Nigel Benn's cousin Michael Bowen.

I think Warren was attached to Barrera when the Mexican was over fighting Wenton and Lloyd in England a year before the Morales fight.

    It must stem from that.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that Warren helped put on Barrera-Morales I.

Nah, it was a great prank. Suckered everyone in I would say; it was one of those "I want to believe its true, so it must be true" moments.

I can't believe the lounge lizards gave you such an easy ride.

Barrera boxed Wenton in Atlantic City, on the undercard of Naz McCullough I think.

    True.

    Was Warren Wenton's promoter though?

    This is back-in-the-day ****. I can't remember.

My respect for Warren has went up.

Warren > Every other current British promoter

Sad, but true (Hayemaker prove me wrong).
