I think you misunderstand me on here at times. I do not hate or dislike British fighters. Lenoox Lewis was a great champion. I know you do not like him but Joe Calzaghe was also a great champion. And I also enjoy debate and discussion on the forum. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. This place would be boring if everyone thought the same way. :good
Fair enough.:good But you've also got to acknowledge that saying a 20 year old fighter who's just gone 5(5)-0-0 is nothing but a hype job who will only ever be a bum ain't ever going to get you involved in a rational debate.
Id bloody hope so!! Britian is a fraction of the size of your great nation (the 51st state no?) Considering we're the 51st state we dont half punch above our weight. Pound for pound we put you to shame
Yeah, Mclellan thought that and will finish his days eating his dinner though a straw. Every country has it's fair share of glass jawed fighters.
It is just my opinion. I have been wrong before and I will be wrong again. One of the reasons I love Boxing is ANYTHING can happen on any given night.
If that's the general quality of your opinion though then you're not worth listening to. Look at the fighter, look at the record. It's difficult to say how far he will go, difficult to say how he'll cope under real pressure. For now though the only sane, rational opinion is that he;s got a potentially very bright future ahead of him. Either at continental or world level. To argue anything else is just revealing your unfairness and ignorance.
Nah, it's all relative. Lennox, Wlad and Vit have been knocking your lot out for the best part of 12 years now. No wonder you're upset, I bet it's really starting to grate, isn't it?
Puerto Rico is the 51st state of the US and, pound for pound, we're a lot chunkier. I can't imagine your country electing another PM who'd grab his ankles quite as often in foreign policy... but then again Hugh "I'm so charmingly befuddled!" Grant was way too believable as a PM in that christmas-sy movie I can't remember the title of.
I apologize for the American ****ing idiots here calling Fury a bum. As if we have any up and coming HWs that have looked remotely decent. Excusing the fact that he punched himself in the face, he has certainly impressed so far.
Before we bash him or praise him lets see how he does against someone who is actually a threat in the ring. Only thing I can say is he has good height and strength but he never looks like hes in that good of shape. I wonder if he can go past 6 rounds.
