I think Trinidad ruined Vargas,he was not the same after that fight. Calzaghe ruined Jeff Lacy. Other examples please...
Tszyu ruined Judah. Even though he went on to achieve many things he never really lived up to his obvious talents. Judah's immaturity meant that he never really dealt with the humiliation of the Tszyu KO and it affected the way he fought from then on.
Cause Calvin Brock was never that good to begin with. And I don't even think Wlad took too much out of brock anyways. My version of ruined is the fighter can't physically perform like he used to. And on occasion I might make an exception for guys that are really mentally ****ed up after a loss. But just cause a guy was a little bit worse then he used to be doesn't in my mind qualify. Or if he goes off the rails and stops training or loses motivation, thats his own doing.
Would Douglas knocking out Tyson count? There was an interview I saw with Tyson where he said something along the lines of he was finished after that fight.
Sticking with the Tito theme, didn't Bernard ruin Trinidad? We have yet to see, but Vasquez and Marquez may have ruined each other.
Lewis > Grant Tszyu > Judah Judah > Witter Calzaghe > Lacy Trinidad > Vargas Margarito > Cotto - just see
