Bad style matchup for Pavlik. Kelly can knock his lights out but like BHop, I think Williams is too slick. I can see a Williams UD.

Kelly should stick to fighting the likes of Gary Lockett, Marco Antonio Rubio, and Sergio Mora.

Williams is pretty similar to Pavlik in a way. Pavlik would likely be too much for him, Williams isn't that hard to hit and someone big enough to absorb his punishment and match his intensity would give him very big problems.

I would back Williams to outbox AA though.

i give pavlik a puncher's chance but if the fights goes to the judges scorecard, i think williams win by decision.

one good shot from pavlik can put williams out, and paul wont enjoy the height and reach advantage hes had his whole career.

williams will get stopped by either kelly or abraham if he ends up fighting them.

???:patsch pavlik beat jermain taylor twice. This guy can fight and has a very good shot of beating williams cuz of his power. P.Will is not that hard to hit and pavlik has power to knock him out.

i just dont see it pav hits to hard for williams they have the same work rate i would even say williams might have better all around boxing skills but he cant hit as hard as pav . williams defense is no where near bhop so he cant avoid getting hit by pav so i say it would be lights out for williams.

Same workrate? Not even close. Paul is faster, more agile, and better on his feet than Pavlik. Not to mention his stamina is off the charts. Pavlik is no slouch in that department and he is certainly a heavier hitter. Pauls workrate, movement and speed would make the difference in the fight if he could take Pavlik's best shot.

Thing about Williams is you better get him sooner then later. A couple more fights at 160 and it will be much tougher for those guys to beat him. Paul will actaully get stronger in the next year or two.

williams would win this IMO. pavlik does not have one punch power to knock williams out. pavlik needs to land a 1, 2 or some sort of combo to drop williams.

I agree, I think Williams looks better and physically stronger at Middleweight then Welter. His stamina was out of control tonight.

All I'm gonna say is, hitting Williams would be much easier than hitting Hopkins.

the problem with this match for pavlik is the fact that jermaine taylor dropped him and had him in trouble and basically gassed himself out. ... paul williams will keep comin and comin
