I never met him face to face, but he was really kind and patient with me over email. I was in shock when they announced it... barely knew him, but I'm missing him already. Strange way to feel.

    It was touching.

I liked the picture with him and DLH, Toney, Bowe and others in red graduation gowns.

Yeah that was pretty sad. Most outside of the inner workings of HBO and boxing have never heard of him, but he sounded like a great guy.

I never heard of him but he must have been quite a guy, judging by Merchant's and Lampley's reactions to his passing.

I think Steward was trying to cry as well, but his face was too tight.

Not even sure if this is a joke, maybe you're serious? Funny as a joke, but if not joking - even funnier. :yep

I've seen both Lampley and Merchant get choked up many times while paying respects to lost ones, but this guy Curry must have been very special to them. Both were more emotional than usual. Probably because they were around the guy for 30 years. Oh well, I'm sure Larry just drank his sorrow away afterwards.
