hmm says... I dunno man.....if Mosely can get inside and not fight Paul within his range he'll have a good chance. I doubt Paul will be like Margarito but body shots and the clinch will do some justice.
styles make fights, mosley was able to bring down margarito's workrate and that stopped margarito from causing any damage. paul williams relies on speed and workrate, but if mosley can use his jab like he did against margarito then its his fight. mosley also has the speed to match williams, and the power to cause him problems. also as williams gets older the harder its going to become to get down to 147, he is a huge guy for the weight, and the only guy that can probably stand and fight with him is mosley. if he fights cotto then i can see cotto getting inside and causing problems with his body punches, but it would still be williams fight because of the huge height advantage.
Williams is not Margarito. Williams is faster than Margarito, Williams can jab, Williams actually moves his head, Williams is a much better conditioned fighter, and most importantly Williams in not a cheat.
good match.if mosley can get inside without shipping to much punishment he can hurt williams alot especially to the body.
It will be a good fight but will the weight be a determing factor. Could williams make 147, and would mosely want to go back upto LMW or even MW.
I can't see Mosley beating Paul, especially the Paul last night. A Paul that establishes the jab is a nightmare for Shane because he will be taking punishment all night. The only shot Shane has is when he gets inside, but unlike Margo, Paul will not let him work on the inside, he is going to clinch. There is always the hope of a huge shot landing but I think defensivley Paul is getting better and the odds of those landing are getting smaller.
I like Mosley. But I don't think so. Don't go crazy with his victory against Margacheato. Is well known Margarito boxing SKILLS are not very good. His success was based on coming always forward and now we know why.(CAST) Also we have to be a little more specific. Are talking at 147lbs or 160lbs??? At 160 I say no ****ing way!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mosley can make LMW easy. He was fighting there before he moved back down and it will be easier on his body. Not having to kill himself to make the WW limit.
