All roads lead to Paul Williams. How would he do against the 15 fighters named below? I believe who could go to 200, if he is matched carefully
    1. Pavlik
    2. Abraham
    3. Sturm
    4. Froch
    5. Bute
    6. Kessler
    7. Karoly Bazsay
    8. Dawson
    9. Erdei
    10. Hugo Garay
    11. Adrian Daiconou
    12. Adamek
    13. Victor Ramirez
    14. Guillermo Jones
    15. Giacobbe Fragomeni

    154, 160, 168, possibly up to 175..... yes

    200lbs...... HELL NO!

Unless he forgets about boxing for about a year and dedicate his life to weight training. Then...... may be.

He cannot go to 200lbs. He had trouble putting on weigh to get to a weight that he could be sanctioned for 160 at. Guys like Adamek, Jones, Dawson would easily beat him.

He's a very good fighter and he's going to cause problems between 147lbs and 160lbs, possibly enough at 168 who knows, but up to cruiser? I don't think so.

He's also 6'4" and was never ever a natural welterweight. The guy was stick thin, and put on weight very, very quickly.

Williams should never go above 168 lbs and that he shouldnt see till he's at least 31 or 32.

If Carlos Quintana can cut him and bust his face up at 147 then i very much doubt he could take the full force of Pavlik or Abrahams, and definately not at 168 or above.

154 is such an uniteresting division with belts being traded so often i would rather he stayed at 147 and fought clottey, mosley, cotto etc.

    200lbs??? Slow down cowboy!!!

Don't forget... As good as PW is, with the way he leans in and sticks his head in there he gets hit flush too much to be taking shots from 200 pounders.

He could sttle into 154 and be dominant ! At 160 not so sure how well he does but after last night I'd like to see him in against Pavlik .There were plenty of of shot thats Paul got hit with that I wondered if Wright had power what would happen to PW ?

I still say Williams should fight at 154. He'd clean house and become a monster of a unified champ.

At 160 fighting Kelly Pavlik is completely different than fighting a rusty and ring worn Winky Wright. Pavlik/Williams would be exciting as hell for 3-4 rounds, and then Kelly would find his rythym and close the show over the next couple rounds.

At 168 I doubt if Paul could get past Bika or Andrade.

For the next few years Williams should not even consider going higher than 154 unless the pay day is to big to resist.

For Paul Williams the biggest fights and the most money is probably at 160. I suspect he feels better and would perform better at that weight rather than 147. A guy that size must go through the tortures of the damned to make welter.
