He's trying so hard to get a 3rd match with pacquiao.
he maybe thought by calling floyd out will help him get the match.

I doubt Mayweather Jr. would really bother with JMM at any rate. He's guaranteed $20+ million fights against Hatton/Pac and close to that with even someone like Cotto. I have a hard time seeing how HBO could come up with the money required to make a PBF/JMM fight because neither can draw for **** without a superstar rival and it's not like PBF would take a pay cut.

For JMM it's either a ploy to get Pac or to cash in because he has no chance in hell of winning it. I don't even think he will make it out alive vs. Valero to be honest.

Sure thing, then just don't watch it if it's made official. Simple and easy.

And you have a picture of the cheating fraud as your avatar.

People Margarito should fight because he lost to:

    Shane Mosley
    Daniel Santos
    Paul Williams

We all know the other three "don't count" because he was 3 years old when he fought them so don't worry.

If he turned down Jmm he's ducking Jmm, he fights cotto he's ducking mosley, he fights mosley he's ducking cotto. You know how this thing goes when it comes to Floyd.

You said to me Floyd isnt a 147lbr and is actually naturally 140lb. If that's the case, surely we should be negotiating 137-140 and not 143 yet alone 147.

Plenty of Floyd fans every time they try to argue that Floyd isn't the bigger man vs Pac. I would give Floyd all the credit in the world for beating Pac, it would be his best win to date by far BUT he is very clearly the bigger man.

haha... floyd picking on a blown up featherweight... if he wants to fight at 147 he can fight mosley or cotto or even williams, if it's not any of these 3 I'm not interested.

To those bringing up the Pac/DLH scenario:

    - Roach started the negotiations by publicly saying Manny could KO Oscar. Oscar responded, he didn't call out

    - Pac did not move up to fight DLH at his natural weigh 154, they moved up expecting to fight someone severely handicapped by the weight. Roach does not deny this at all. Asking Marquez to move up to fight someone at their natural weight is NOT the same as what Pacquiao did. Mayweather would not look like a zombie, there would be no weight handicap.

Marquez doesnt have to accept now. I give Hatton a 30% chance of beating Pac, and there's a good chance Hatton gives Marquez a bout right after.

Marquez can wait until May, if Hatton wins he can fight Hatton at 140. If Manny wins, he has to accept the bout at 147.

At 147 against Floyd, I give Marquez a 10% chance, but at least he gets a big payday. Floyd is a small welterweight like Zab Judah, none of us know for sure how low Mayweather can make, but common sense tells you that Floyd can move down to at least 143. He just won't b/c it's to his advantage not to. His weight progression over the years and his tiny physical build in comparison to Williams and Mosley is glaringly obvious.

Yeah, I am not a fan of this fight or this action. You cant fight a lightweight at welterweight if he calls you out. Shows up at your doorstep etc etc. Thats like Pavlik fighting Darchinyan for calling him out. You cant use that bull**** "he called me out" excuse. Mosley called Floyd out and has a wide open schedule. If you are going to fight at welter than fight at welter weight. Pacquaio is not even a welter. Floyd should know this b/c he did the same with ODH.
