If only the fight could be made, I think it would go down as one of the all time classics.
Two fabulous fighters at the top of their game, I just wouldn't like to pick a winner.
Possibly Williams, who will surely fill out in the next couple of years, and conceivably win a version of the World Super Middleweight Crown by 2011?
This fight needs to be made sooner rather than later......

    I'd love to see it.

Let's see Cotto get past Clottey first. That's not an automatic win for Cotto by any means..

Cotto won't take this fight, he's better off having a rematch with Mosley. I'm a Cotto fan but Williams would just batter him without the need to have brass knuckles in his gloves like the desperate limited tomato can piece of garbage Margarito.

WTF N U CALL URSELF A COTTO FAN BS. HE WOULD TAKE THE FIGHT WITHOUT HESITATING AND HE COULD DO WONDERS WITH WILLIAMS WITH THE RIGHT GAMEPLAN EXAMPLE Q FIGHT. COTTO IS MORE TECHNICAL THAN QUINTANA HAS A LOT MORE POP AND WELL HE REALLY IN MY OPINION COULD DO IT. IM NOT SAYING IT WOULD BE A WALK IN THE PARK BUT SURELY WE HAV SEEN THAT PW CAN BE BEATEN. I WOULD LUV TO SEE THIS FIGHT NO MATTER WHOS WINS IT WOULD BE A REALLY GREAT FIGHT. BUT I LEAN TOWARDS MY MAN COTTO TO PULL IT OFF. PEACE:bbb

All that yelling and I get "PEACE" in the end...

Anyway, yeah I am a Cotto fan but I won't be stupid. Williams is a very active fighter in there and that's just something Cotto won't be able to cope with. Williams' activity is far better than the zombie Margarito too, he has some serious speed and throws punches EVERYWHERE, literally, body shots, head just everywhere he can hit he will and in serious combinations. When Margarito got too active on Cotto you saw him on the ropes and in trouble welcoming Margarito's **** poor version of the uppercut, you do realise Williams' uppercut is far better and is WAY faster than Margarito's, right?

When Torres also was too active on Cotto he had him hurt till he ran out of gas. Cotto just has trouble with active fighters and Williams' is not any active fighter, he's just a FREAK in there who will keep throwing. Hell he was throwing punches in the 12th against Wright like it was the 1st, Cotto wouldn't want an opponent like that to deal with especially when his defense is poor and will be vulnerable to almost every punch Williams throws, especially the uppercut.

This wouldn't be a good fight. Cotto is a short-arse former light-welter whereas Williams is a lanky fighter who could easily jump up to Super-Middle if he filled out a bit. His reach would be too great for Cotto unless Cotto managed to find a way inside.
