Is it any good - i know it's impact free so good for the knees and ankles - but is the resistance any good for stamina? Would say a 12K 'run in one hour be equal to a 12K run on a treadmill? I doubut it would - but is there any 'rule of thumb' to convert crosstrainer Ks to mill Ks?
their ok but nothing beats going out and running for real, especially when you mix it up, steps, hill sprints, interval training etc. if your thinking of buying one i'd say dont bother, if your just using one at the gym then **** it, why not, but i only use them now and then to mix my training up a bit.
Not buying - just been using one at the gym and i'm doing good distances - wondering just how much easier it is than real roadwork or mill...It's definitely easy on the knees and therefore i can go longer and 'run' everyday - so it has it's uses. I'd like some sort of guide...Like - 1 K on the CT = 0.5 K on the mill or something - just as a refernce for me. Cheers :good
