WHAT DOES PAUL HAVE TO DO TO GET ANY RESPECT???MUH FU34A IS FIGHTIN IN 3 DIVISIONS...IMO HE CAN GIVE NE FIGHTER A HARD TIME FROM 147-168...HE MAY GET BEAT, YES, BUT HE'S GONNA BE COMPETITIVE IN ANY FIGHT FROM 147-168!:bbb

NAME 1 OTHER FIGHTER THAT CAN REALISTICALLY FIGHT IN 4 WEIGHT DIVISIONS AT 1 TIME?? MOVIN UP OR DOWN AND STILL KEEPIN HIS STRENGTH,SPEED, AGILITY, PUNCH OUTPUT, ETC...:huh

  2. It always happens when an American boxer gets a decent win...... I really like Williams but is a win over a semi-retired Winky really worthy of top 5 p4p as ppl have been saying.

He is still only a one weight champ, he has a loss to quintana who is the MUCH smaller guy, fair enough he won the rematch.... but with all the advantages Pual had he should not have lost to him.

His best win is Margo but that win is somewhat devalued because their are another 4 boxers with his name on their list.

It is fantastic he can weight hop.... but if your not fighting any of the top guys for the belts it doesn't mean that much

What Margocheato and his cement hands wasn't enough? Why don't you tell the guy on your avatar to fight a big puncher.

Why do you believe PW would get KTFO when his chin hasn't given anybody reason to doubt his toughness. PW certainly wouldn't get ktfo because of poor stamina or workrate. So what are you talking about? Explain.

Pavlik and Abraham hit hard. They could of course. PW is no china chin at all but he could not take too many shots from either guy based on his frame and build. Let alone body shots. Whether they could handle his style is another question. Winky is a strong guy and is no push over opponent. So who knows.

Ill tell yall like this, IMO, if williams finds a weight he is comfortable at and sticks with it, he is ok
if he tries to bounce around weight classes to get the biggest fights, he is more likely to lose a couple

:patsch 4? Dude hasn't even fought any chumps from 168. The strongest guy he's fought is Kolle. Try a littler perspective.

    He's pushing himself at 160.

I dont see anyone beating him below 154 at this point. As long as he stays focused that is.

Williams made a statement last night. Sure it wasn't the best Winky, but the only guy to do that to Winky was Hops. And at 10 pounds higher then the fight last night. Williams is a tough fight for probably anyone in the MW division.

..the thing about Williams, is that despite being such a high-output guy, he's boring as **** to watch. Not sure why, I usually love volume guys.. but sometimes I want to say.. Paul, stop a bit, slow down, sit on some shots, you don't need to throw so many damn arm punches..

    Anyone else think this?

At times yes. There were a moments where Williams was really letting his hand go...yet hitting nothing and bouncing off gloves. Of course, Lamps went nuts over it.

One thing I can say. Paul Williams could easily pumped some iron to get more muscle mass and he could easily clean the 160lbs division. The guy right now make that weight too easy, so he could use more muscle.

No, if your talking about his fight with Winky. A fight with Winky is boring regardless. If you put a guy that will stand and trade with him like Margarito. You wouldn't get a boring fight. And if you think that fight was boring than you should just watch golf or tennis. Because boxing is just too voilent for you:lol:

it's ridiculous. Not everyone has to be a big fan of the guy or think he's unbeatable, but I don't understand why real boxing fans wouldn't at least have a ton of respect for the guy. What more could you want from a guy? He'll fight across multiple weight classes, fight you on your turf like Margarito, and fight as often as possible. He's respectful and didn't make any excuses after his loss to Quintana. What's not to like about him?
