The Klitschkos, Peter, and probably Virchis are probably the hardest punchers. If Haye ko's Klitschko, than we can include him too.

I watched it on youtube in awful res. Can someone comment on this? It looked like Barrett would have no problem getting up when the ref stopped him from getting up. It was like he wasn't supposed to win that fight and the ref wasn't taking any chances.

vitali used to hit harder than wlad but not anymore. Please explain . wlad is not the hardest puncher in the divsion . david tua is . wlads power is completely overrated . lewis stopped rahman with one punch wlad took 7 rounds . he had to beat on botha for a few rounds to ko him tyson and lewis kknocked botha with one punch . wlad is a hard puncher but he is no where near the hardest puncher in the divsion . chris byrd said tua hits much harder than wlad and vitali.

When do you ever here a fighter that's been ko'ed by another fighter give that fighter any credit. You will be hard pressed to find many that do,probably human nature or something. Its always the guy that he beat that's the hardest puncher. Not saying that wlad hits harder than Tua ,but what an opponent says about another opponent should be taken with a grain of salt.

    Depends...

In a normal fight Vitaly's average punch would be harder than Haye's average punch.

However, Haye's peak punch in a fight is probablyharder than Vitaly's peak punch.

This is due to the fact that Vitaly is stronger, but uses arm punches more than Haye.

However, if they both had one punch in a tivoli or something and they could put everything into that one punch - I would rather have Haye's punch than Vitaly's - because Vitaly almost never sits down and svings through - he doesn't need to and his bigger movements would be risky in a fight. If he did - I wouldn't want to be at the end of it.

Where in my post did i say that Wlad hits harder than Tua.But now that you mention it,right now i would put my money on Wlad.Tua hasent been able to ko the journymen fighters he's been in there with lately, meanwhile Wlad has koed 6 of his last 7 of mostly top ten competition. It might have more to do with Tua not having the ability to land at a consistant level anymore than his loss of power but that is open for debait. But for Bird to say Tua hits harder than Wlad after Bird went 12 rds with Tua and never was hurt once but almost did a backflip from that right hand Wlad landed in that first kd,seems a little desingenuous to me.If Tua hits harder,he sure didnt apply it to Birds head.

Does Pac? I mean, he could put on weight couldn't he?

    1. If David Haye hits harder than David Tua, I'll be surprised.
    2. Does David Haye have the worst chin the HW division, cause he almost got KTFO by Mormeck?
    3. Butterbean hits harder than Haye, so.....?

Barrett had taken some VERY heavy flush shots. The stoppage was to avoid him getting hurt more than he needed to be.
Haye doesn't have huge one shot KO power. He tends to break his opponents apart cause he is very heavy handed. Then he jumps on them and gets the KO

I could understand that but whats the harm at letting a fighter get up and then asess the situation. If he starts to stager around or doesnt seem coheriant, than stop it.But at least let the fighter the chance to show he can or cant continue.Monte has been pro a long time and if he didnt want to continue,he would have done like he did in the Valuev fight, look for his corner to stop it or just stay down.
