It's a solid win but that certainly wasn't McCline at his best in there against Arreola.

actually age differnece isnt that big anymore. Marquez spanking Diaz and Hopkins spanking Pavilk. Arreloa is just the better fighter period, Mccline couldve been 20 and got that ass whopped last night. I think Arreloa can beat Wald but not Vatili

I Agree it's an empty win. Mcline's clearly not the same fighter he was 10 years ago.

I'm one of Arreola's detractors but even I was impressed with the manner of his victory. Credit where it is due, huh?

There are no serious American contenders at HW at the moment and I don't see any on the horizon. Doesn't matter though because the best fights are at cruiser.

A fit and motivated McCline would have beat the Mexican Nipple. That is not saying a whole lot. Larry Merchant's babbling was embarrassing.

its sad that arreola is the best the us has to offer right now as far as heavyweights.

atleast theres all kinds of crazy action at the lighter weights.

come to think of it, its almost a blessing in disguise. now all these badass fights that would normally get overshadowed by the heavies are in the main focus.

You're right, but atleast Arreola went in there and did what he had to do against an overmatched opponenet and steamrolled him quickly. You have to give the man his due credit for that.
