Williams is fast making a case for himself to be in the running...thing is what elite top level fighters doesnt REALLY think of themself as the p4p best fighter??? I think that the motives of people that try and twist comments to be bad is plain and simple HATE, and/or cockriding of another fighter.

I think he misunderstood the question. It seems like he thought the question was where he thinks he ranks in the DIVISION. This is the question he normally gets and he would probably think he could be considered 1 or 2 now. I don't think he was thinking p4p.
OK, we've heard people take this first step in the game of 'telephone' before... Tell me, JoeAverage, what is the basis for your belief that he misunderstood? I've always wanted to know how these things happen. Enlighten me, if you would.
Perhaps I think he is smarter than he is - but it just sounded like he thought what he said was a-matter-of-fact and since no p4p list has him in their top 5 p4p he would have to be dellusional or at least knowing that it was a very bold statement. Yet, it seemed like he was trying to be humble and respectful. All in all I think he thought he was being asked about his ranking (in the division).
Fair assessment, although in his case I'm wondering what division he might have been referring to. 160? Can't be.
