Paul has stepped up his game every since that lost...I honestly think Paul needed that lost to get his **** together...He doesnt take anyone lightly anymore.

For the first Quintana fight...Paul didnt even spar with any southpaws....That right there should show you how cocky he was at first....Since that lost to Quintana Paul has showed a new work ethic IMO.(just my opinion)

Or The Wink that PW beat is a shell of what he once was. I like PW as much as the next guy. I thought he had an off night with with CQ and showed what was up in the rematch BUT you guys are acting like Wink isn't a shell of what he once was, which he was 2 days ago. All props to PW because he didn't look to fight Wink, he looked at Pavlik and Cotto, it just so happened Wink was the ONLY guy who would step up.

He crossed 'obsessive' long ago. I wouldn't doubt that PW actually has a restraining order against WWM at this point.

Wright is a shell of his former self. . I thought he was going to win UD possibly late KO. Despite what anyone says taking that time off obviously effected him & I believe there is no comparison of current Winky to the Winky that fought Taylor or Mosley. . But still you can't take anything from Williams, He fought a great fight, and earned a shut out.

Because the Quintana fight shows that Williams is definetely beatable.

If Williams still had his 0, peeps here would be putting him in fantasy match-ups with the fabulous 4 welterweights of the 80s

dude Dzinziruk would smoke him. I'm glad he (yeah, Dzinziruk, the guy who's been the best 154lb fighter for at least 4 years) is finally getting exposure by fighting the prospect Kirkland. The world of HBO is really ****ed up.

I left him out on purpose. I can't waste time defending heavyweights. :D

I love the way Williams has bounced back from Quintana. Honestly, I wish something similar had happened to Taylor. Winning all of those decisions froze him as basically the same fighter until Pavlik stopped him. Sometimes losses really are good for a fighter, and we might end up looking back at Quintana and saying that about Williams.

I take nothing away from him, at 147 I only see a good version of Mosley having achance against him, He outworks Clottey to a UD and he stops both Berto and Cotto IMO, I thought that before he beat Winky, as for CQ, PW is obviously the better fighter but he still does have his flaws.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all. Dzinziruk would probably come close to sweeping Paul.

I don't think the gifts against Hopkins and Winky hurt Taylor, I think Steward's lame ass training methods hurt Taylor more than anything as for PW I think he just had an off night but against Phillips, Margo, and Mitchell you can see he has his flaws, that being said not many fighters can beat him between 147-160.

It dont work that way people

forrest knocked out mosley who knocked out mayorga but forrest got beat by mayorga x2...
